A prestigious visitor stopped by the NBC 10 studios came all the way from Africa, via Connecticut that is.
Our visitor was 4-year-old "Blue Blue." He's an African penguin who currently lives at the Mystic Aquarium.
Blue Blue is a warm weather bird. And his visit was to bring attention to the endangered African penguins whose population has declined 60 percent since 2001.
The penguin handlers said by paying admission to the aquarium you're helping conserve penguins around the world.
The aquarium's World Oceans Day celebration begins next weekend.
