Boston alley parking spaces sell for $560,000

In Boston, a Back Bay resident is spending as much for a couple of parking spaces that many people would pay for a house.

The Boston Globe said a bidding war took the price of two alley spaces behind Commonwealth Avenue from $42,000 to $560,000.

Back Bay parking is considered the most valuable parking spaces in the city.

The median sales price of a single family home in the Bay State is a little over $300,000.
