Brown University holds forum on race in the media

Brown University held a forum on race in the media on Saturday night.

On Saturday night the local chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists held a forum called, "Does Race Matter to the Media?"

The forum asked the questions about whether people believed local and national media outlets have been sensitive when covering Ferguson and other stories.

The evening's Keynote Speaker was Wesley Lowery, a Washington Post reporter arrested while covering Ferguson.
