Former Masters champion Bubba Watson and Ricky Fowler will be playing the 15th Annual CVS Caremark Charity Classic this year.
"Having them is a huge draw. People will come out to see those guys. Fowler is very popular with the kids. The clothing and stuff that they wear, and Bubba is a social media freak, so it's kinda cool to see it," said event co-host Brad Faxon.
Among the other golfers participating in the event will be Peter Jacobsen, Steve Stricker, and LPGA standout golfers Lexi Thompson and Juli Inkster.
"To have our 15th is pretty amazing. That we've done it this far, it's fantastic. We are going to have a great field. We are going to have a lot of great players come and we just hope that all the fans out there come out and watch," said event co-host Billy Andrade.
Over the past 14 years, the event has raised $16 million.
"Never imagined it being like that. The impact that all these charities have is why we do it," Andrade said.
"It's the biggest charitable event in the state," Faxon said.
The CVS Caremark Charity Classic will be held from June 23-25 at the Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington.
