Cranston figure skater Marissa Castelli and her partner, Simon Shnapir, finished in 11th place in pairs Thursday at the World Figure Skating Championships in Japan.
They were in 11th place going into the free skate, after scoring 60.60 in the short program.
They placed 11th in the free skate with a score of 110.30, and finished 11th overall.
The other American pairs team, Felicia Zhang and Nathan Bartholomay, finished 14th.
Castelli and Shnapir finished ninth in pairs at the Olympics in February, and they won bronze medals as part of the team figure skating event.
They are two-time U.S. champions.
