Children, artists to help bring new life to RI diner
A mural will soon adorn the new Elmwood Diner in Providence.
It's part of program by an organization called Providence CityArts for Youth.
More than 35 children, along with a visiting artist from local street art organization, The Avenue Concept, and a visit by an educator from the Knight Memorial Library, will design and paint a 20 square foot outdoor mural.
Organizers say it will depict historically significant architecture from South Providence.
The new diner is set to open in April.
