Classic Waffles

Serves 4


2 cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

4 teaspoons baking powder

2 tablespoons sugar

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups warm milk

1/3 cup melted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method of Preparation:

1.Prepare waffle iron.

2.Combine flour, salt, baking soda, and sugar.

3.In a separate bowl, beat eggs with milk, butter, and vanilla. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture. Blend until just combined.

4.Ladle the batter into a preheated waffle iron. Cook until golden and crisp, about 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
