Cranston neighborhood wakes up to gunfire

Bullet holes riddle a home on Roland Avenue in Cranston after neighbors say they were awakened by gunfire early Sunday morning.

In addition the house, you can see the back windshield of this SUV shot out and even a bullet hole to the house next door.

Police were on scene investigating most of the morning Sunday.

As NBC 10 arrived on scene around 8:30 Sunday morning there was more police activity just a block up from Roland Avenue on Cranston street.

No word if or how it's connected to the investigation, but all of it unnerving for those who live and work in this neighborhood.

No word yet on any motive or suspects in the case.
