A serious crash on Route 6 on Saturday ended with the vehicles in two different towns and a woman transported to the hospital.
Rehoboth Police Sgt. Mark Rossi tells NBC 10 that the crash happened just after 12:30 Saturday afternoon in Rehoboth, when a turning SUV was struck by an oncoming car. The SUV spun around and came to a stop a few yards down the highway in Seekonk.
Police have identified the woman driving the car as Rebekkah Gilbert, of Taunton. Police tell NBC 10 that Gilbert was trapped inside her vehicle when rescue personal arrived on scene. She was extracted from her vehicle and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
