Cumberland American fans snatching up T-shirts

Cumberland American Little League fans are snatching up T-shirts at Dick's Sporting Goods in North Attleborough.

There are Cumberland American Little League team T-shirts at Dick's Sporting Goods in North Attleborough, and they're selling.

The team is currently competing at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Cumberland American's first game was scheduled for Friday against Texas.

All of the proceeds from the sale of the shirts go to support the Cumberland American Little League. The shirts cost $20.

Sandra Kelley came to the store Friday on a mission.

"I called to make sure they had them and I said (to my grandchildren), 'Boys, do you want to get a T-Shirt?' They said, 'Yeah!' And my husband said, 'Get me one.' So I got one for all of us and their mom and dad too," she said.

Kelley's grandchildren like the shirts. They have a special connection to the team.

"I've played with a lot of them and I've been in school with all of them," Kelley's grandson said. "I'm going to get a shirt, support them and see how they do in the future."

Nick Lawrence says he wants people to come out and buy the shirts.

"I think they should. They should come and support Cumberland," he said.
