East Greenwich native overcomes disability to become doctor
Among the graduates at Brown University on Sunday was a very special East Greenwich native. Jordan Sack became a doctor despite being deaf.
Sack, completed his medical degree Sunday and now the 26-year-old Dr. Sack plans on embarking on a career in internal medicine. Sack is set to begin his residency at Yale Medical Center in two weeks.
He credits his professors and mentors at Brown for helping him achieve his goals.
Jordan's brother, Daniel Sack, also graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor's degree on Sunday and plans on attending Columbia Law School in the fall.
