A suspect in a cold case is set to return to Massachusetts.
Daniel Tavares is due in court next week. He's accused of killing Gayle Botelho 25 years ago in Fall River.
Botelho was reported missing in 1988, and 12 years later Tavares led authorities to her remains.
Taveras, 47, was incarcerated in 2000 for stabbing his mother to death.
Tavares was released on probation in 2007, when he fled to Washington state.
He is serving time there after he was convicted of killing a young couple.
