A fire that damaged an apartment building and a Cambodian market in Fall River is being considered suspicious, fire officials told NBC 10 on Thursday.
The fire at 1090 Pleasant St. started at about 7 a.m.
The fire forced the evacuation of the building, and four residents had to be assisted down a ladder to safety. No injuries were reported.
The building housed Soriya, a Cambodian market, on the first floor.
Investigators said witnesses reported seeing a man running from the building before the fire.
The Red Cross is assisting families that were displaced by the fire.
