A firefighter is recovering after breaking his foot fighting a fire in Providence on Sunday night.
The fire at a three-family home on 42 Daboll St. broke out before 9 p.m. and the flames could be seen for miles.
Fire officials said the home was heavily damaged.
Deputy Assistant Fire Chief Joseph Desmarais said 13 people were displaced by the fire. The Red Cross was called in to help the eight adults and five children.
