State police report first table game arrest

The Rhode Island State Police said Wednesday that they've made their first arrest related to table games at Twin River Casino.

Steven Sabitoni is accused of stealing $250 in chips from the person sitting next to him at a blackjack table. State police said the theft was caught on surveillance video.

Sabitoni, 46, of Lincoln, was charged with one count of larceny under $1,500. He was arraigned in Providence District Court and released on personal recognizance.

Sabitoni was permanently banned from Twin River.
