Groton police looking for larceny suspects


Groton, Conn. police are asking the public's help, in finding two people wanted in a jewelry store larceny.

Police say a man entered the N.L. Shaw and Company store on West Main St, Mystic Tuesday afternoon, reached over the glass case when clerks weren't looking, and took a diamond ring.

Investigators told the Norwich Bulletin the ring was valued at over $19,000.

Police believe the man is working with a woman, who had tried selling a ring and some gold just before the man entered the store.

The man was described as a Middle Eastern man in his mid 30's.

The woman was s described as a tall Asian Pacific female.
