A Bellevue Avenue mansion in Newport and everything inside it are for sale.
Swanhurst Manor, built in 1851, is accessible from Webster Street, has six bedrooms, three bathrooms, 2 half-baths and 7,600 square feet of cozy, comfortable living space.
"There's lovely bedroom furniture. There's some nice living room, dining tables and chairs, lots of accessories. There's artwork. There are mirrors there are lamps," said Maura Lindsay of Tresor Estate Sales and Fine Consignment, who is organizing the estate sale.
As of Friday afternoon, about half of the contents of the mansion had been sold.
Mary Jarvis, of Charlestown, said she hadn't found anything to buy -- yet.
"I've seen lots that I like, but I don't have room for it," she said, noting the prices are very good.
Not only are there still some items for sale, but the mansion is for sale too.
Lynn Creighton, a real estate agent for Prudential Prime Properties, said the price has been reduced from $4.4 million to $3.8 million.
"It's a very livable home. The family who was living here was a small family, and yet it was very comfortable for them," Creighton said.
The estate sale runs from Oct. 18-20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
