Johnston man claims $100K instant game prize
CRANSTON, R.I. —
A Johnston man claimed a $100,000 prize from the 40th Anniversary Instant Game, according to the Rhode Island Lottery.
James Webster said the game was one of his favorite games to play.
He told the Lottery as he bought the ticket on Monday night that he just wanted to win a lot.
The first number he scratched won $5,000 and the 19 numbers after that each won $5,000 for a total win of $100,000.
Webster said he plans to use the winnings to pay bills.
Plainfield Pike Gulf on 1889 Plainfield Pike in Johnston sold the winning ticket.
