Man held in convenience store robbery
A Fall River man was ordered held without bail for 60 days on charges he robbed a convenience store.
Police found David DeFrancesco, 29, hiding in his girlfriend's closet. He's accused of showing a Tedeschi's store clerk a folding knife and stealing $28 before fleeing Tuesday.
DeFrancesco told police he needed money for drugs.
After the 60-day wait, he'll be held on $5,000.
