Marketing campaign trying to bring companies to downtown Providence

PROVIDENCE — The Providence Downtown Improvement District and The Providence Foundation are teaming up on a new campaign, trying to bring new businesses to the city. The 'Bring Your Company to Life' campaign promotes Providence as an ideal office location, for companies of any size.They'll target out-of-state entrepreneurs, and smaller businesses to increase office occupancy in Providence. As part of the 'Bring Your Company to Life' campaign, groups will keep an updated list of available office spaces, and work towards freezing the commercial tax rate, along with fast-tracking the permit process.Providence's Department of Economic Development, the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, and the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce will also be involved with the campaign.
