Mike Fahey is the Executive Producer for NBC 10 News.
He was hired as a producer in 2011, and named executive producer in January of 2013. Before joining NBC 10, Mike worked as a producer at the WAFB, CBS affiliate in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
While in Baton Rouge, Mike covered major stories, including the Gulf Oil Spill and the Saints Super Bowl championship. He even got to spend some time covering snow storms, since the entire state of Louisiana shuts down at the threat of a dusting.
Mike grew up in Marshfield, MA. He graduated from Washington and Lee University with a double major in Journalism and Sociology.
After graduating, Mike spent time at NESN, working as an production assistant and associate editor. So it's fair to say that he's a big sports fan.
Mike is a competitive tennis player and is a big country music fan.
