The Narragansett Beer Company is planning to put out an Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout.
The brew is a traditional stout infused with Autocrat coffee syrup.
Coffee syrup was first marketed in the 1890s in Rhode Island. It consists of water and sugar strained through coffee grounds.
The syrup is used in Rhode Island specialties like coffee milk and coffee cabinets.
The company is planning to put the beer out in December.
No word on whether the beer will be marketed outside of Rhode Island.
