New Bedford man to be arraigned for cab driver assault

A New Bedford man is due to be arraigned for allegedly assaulting a cab driver.

Police say 31 year-old Braulio Jones took a cab from Fall River to Tallman Street in Nee Bedford Monday night.

The cab driver claims when he asked Jones about the fare at the end of the ride, Jones attacked him for no reason.

Police found the cab driver bleeding from the face and nose, and swelling to his forehead.

Jones allegedly ended up behind the wheel, and struck the cab driver with his own cab.

Police found Jones nearby. He still had the keys to the cab.

He's scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday on assault, and larceny charges.
