No charges in deadly crash that killed RIC professor

No criminal charges will be filed in a deadly accident that killed a professor from Rhode Island College.

Professor Jennifer Cook was killed when she and her mother were hit by pickup truck in Syracuse, New York in March.

Cook was in New York visiting her mother Barbara when the accident happened.

NBC 10 has learned the 86-year-old driver of that truck will not face criminal charges.

James McDonald has been cited for running a red light and failure to keep right.
