One Direction to kick off Southern New England leg of tour
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. —
Officials at Gillette Stadium say they expect crowds of more than 150,000 this weekend, as One Direction begins a three-night tour stop Thursday night.
The "Where We Are" tour has concerts scheduled for Aug. 7, 8 and 9 in Foxborough.
The Australian pop band 5 Seconds of Summer is opening for the popular British boy band.
Tickets for the Thursday and Friday shows are sold out, but as of Thursday morning there were newly-released tickets still available for the Saturday show.
