Pawtucket man accused of possessing, sharing child pornography

A Pawtucket man has been arraigned on charges of possessing and transferring child pornography, according to the Rhode Island State Police.

Undercover officers traced evidence to an internet connection belonging to Hector Mendoza, 30, of Beecher Street.

Task Force members executed a search warrant Thursday morning.

Inside, they found evidence on a cellular phone, belonging to Mendoza.

A conviction would result in a fine of no more than $5,000, a five year prison sentence, or both.
