Pawtucket mayor released from hospital
PAWTUCKET, R.I. —
Pawtucket Mayor Don Grebien has been released from a Boston hospital after being treated for a spinal fluid leak.
The Pawtucket Times reports that Grebien was released from Brigham and Women's Hospital on Saturday.
He had been there for several days after complaining of flu-like symptoms including headaches and fatigue.
Grebien spokesman Douglas Hadden says the 46-year-old mayor underwent a successful non-invasive procedure to stop the leak.
Hadden says he is expected to return to work on a limited basis this week, and be back full time next week.
Grebien is running unopposed for a third 2-year term as mayor.
