Peregrine chicks hatching in downtown Providence

A webcam is trained on a peregrine nest on top of 111 Westminster St. in Providence.

The Audubon Society of Rhode Island says the eggs laid by a peregrine falcon in downtown Providence are beginning to hatch.

The society has a web camera trained on the peregrine falcon perch on top of the former Bank of America building on Kennedy Plaza.

One chick is already visible.
