A 57-year-old Providence woman reported missing was found dead over the weekend, police said.
Paula Salvo was reported missing by her family April 14. She was last seen driving her 2001 Volvo.
East Providence police told The Providence Journal that Salvo was found dead Saturday in the basement of her sister's home. Salvo's car was found on a nearby street.
Police said Salvo's sister had been staying in Providence with their mother.
Investigators said there were no signs of foul play in Salvo's death.
She suffered severe effects of Lyme disease.
