Foxwoods has taken steps to secure a 30-acre site for a potential casino in Fall River.
And Thursday night, the city's mayor will hear from residents to get their input for the community host agreement.
The agreement is supposed to be in place before voters head to the polls. Foxwoods says the facility would bring thousands of jobs to the area.
Thursday's forum is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Government Center.
It will be also be broadcast on Fall River Community TV.
Mayor Will Flanagan says he hopes to bring the proposal to a vote sometime in June.
