Rhody Paws helps URI students relieve stress
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. —
A group of therapy dogs and search-and-rescue dogs visited the University of Rhode Island campus on Monday to interact with students as a way to reduce student stress.
Sponsored by the URI Student Senate Cultural Committee, the Rhody Paws program is in its second year.
Last year, the event attracted more than 500 students, many of whom made donations to the Animal Rescue League of Southern Rhode Island.
