The Rhode Island Supreme Court is refusing to hear an appeal by the owners of a Providence strip club.

The Satin Doll currently has its license suspended for allegedly allowing prostitution in private booths.

According to the Providence Journal Wednesday, the owners asked the Supreme Court to review the sanctions that were imposed by the city Board of Licenses.

In December the board suspended the club's licenses for 20 days.

The club was also ordered to pay $4,000 in fines.

The state Department of Business Regulation also upheld the board's sanctions.
