East Greenwich Superintendent Victor Mercurio said Wednesday was the second day school was canceled because of snow. He said the two canceled days plus early release days mean the last day of school will be pushed back.
The Rhode Island Education Commissioner's office said most districts picked the last day of school by factoring in a few snow days.
School is expected to resume Thursday.
