Three men stabbed in separate incidents

Providence police reported that three people were stabbed in separate incidents early Thursday morning.

Police said 20-year-old Kevin Mann was stabbed twice in the chest. Officers were called to Rhode Island Hospital at about 1 a.m. Police said Mann isn't cooperating with police.

In another case, police said 31-year-old George Galindo told them he was stabbed three times on Arch Street during a physical altercation. Police arrested 42-year-old Robert Butler, who is awaiting arraignment.

In the third case, a 60-year-old man was stabbed on Sorrento Street at about 4:30 a.m. Police said Robert Pi was approached by a man and stabbed twice in the stomach. Pi was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
