Thousands of people were looking for clean water to drink Monday after customers of the Kent County Water Authority have been advised to boil their water after tests found E. coli bacteria contamination in a storage tank.
At Dave's Marketplace in East Greenwich, bottle water was moving fast.
Stock clerks were busy bringing the bottles from the back out to shelves as customers came in to buy several cases.
Employees said the store just had a shipment of bottled water come in Monday, and said they were in good shape to provide water for the next few days.
Like many other businesses, Dave's employees said they've also had to make adjustments when it comes to cooking and cleaning.
