Men accused of breaking into tanning salon
Two Westport men are accused of breaking into a tanning salon in Dartmouth.
Kyle Pontes and Anthony Cabral were charged with felony breaking and entering, possession of burglarious tools, malicious destruction of property, and theft.
Dartmouth police said they responded to a burglar alarm at Hot Bodeez on State Road at about 12:48 a.m. Tuesday. An officer found a car idling behind the building.
The officer found Pontes, 27, covered in drywall dust. Cabral, 47, was arrested after a brief struggle.
Police said the men cut through some drywall in an attempt to get into an office where money and a safe were stored.
