Tech This Out: LG G2 phone

LG's G2 has an ultra fast processor an edge to edge screen and a camera that makes taking pictures fun.

Blazing speed and beautiful picture is what LG's G2 is all about.

Qualcomm's lightning-quick Snapdragon 800 processor makes will make gamming, browsing the web or watching video easy. Simply put, you won't go totally insane waiting for that little red bar move and the YouTube video to download.

This phone is fast and you can tell images are crisp and colors are vibrant.

You'll notice the screen goes from edge to edge. It's a trend we are seeing more and more of. I'll say it's a medium size phone, but to be exact the G2 dimensions are is 5.45 inches in height, 2.79 inches wide and .35 inches thick.

The back has a little curve to it making for an unusual grip.

Most notable the home and volume buttons are on the back of the phone. LG says it's supposed to make one handed use easier.

I think it will take some getting used to, but in no way a deal breaker.

Feature wise, something nice and simple I really liked. Double tap the screen to wake the phone up. HEY! What a concept!

The G2 has all of the staples like the Multi-Tasking features. Now with the G2, you can access QuickMemo by sliding your finger up from the bottom edge of the screen.

The camera is quality, but if you take a lot of videos, look into the G2. You'll want to consider this phone. Duel recording allows you to take video with the front and rear facing camera at the same time. Just think of all the narrative videos you can produce! This has a lot of potential for journalists.

A feature built into the camera, Life Effects. I could not stop laughing. It's a fun house inside the camera. All of your pictures will be distorted BEFORE you take them! Oh its priceless.

With a two year contract you can purchase LG's G2 at Verizon for $199.99.{} Happy phone hunting!
