Teen charged with vandalizing Rehoboth field

Rehoboth police say a Brockton teen has been charged with vandalizing the baseball field at Dorothy L. Beckwith Middle School in Rehoboth.

An officer on patrol early Wednesday, July 23, noticed a suspicious vehicle, a Chevrolet Avalanche, in the parking lot of the school on Winthrop Street.

It was determined the driver, 18 year old Fabian Herrero of Brockton, had just driven off the baseball field.

Police say Herrero had been doing 'donuts' on the field, and spinning his tires.

Herrero was charged with vandalism and trespassing.
