Teenager sentenced in Fall River shooting
A Fall River teenager convicted of shooting a man in the chest was sentenced to six to nine years in prison.
Dillon Silvester, 19, was convicted Wednesday of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and various gun charges.
Prosecutors said Silvester shot a 19-year-old man outside the victim's Barlow Street home on April 11, 2012.
The victim survived the shooting, but the bullet remains lodged in his chest.
Silvester was captured about a month after the shooting.
