Police are on the lookout for thieves stealing tires and rims in South Coast communities.
The Standard Times reports crooks have taken the wheels off cars in New Bedford, Dartmouth, Westport, Fairhaven and Acushnet in recent months.
Car dealerships in three of those communities tell NBC10 they've been hit.
A dealership in Fairhaven told NBC10 it had $3,600 in damage.
Fairhaven police said cars have been left up on bricks or milk crates after the wheels were taken off.
