Truck fire causes major traffic delays

A fire on a tractor trailer caused a massive traffic jam on Interstate 95 in nearby Connecticut Friday.

The truck was carrying 80,000 pounds of frozen crab legs when it caught fire on I-95 southbound in Old Lyme just after 4:30 a.m.

A gas tank on the truck ruptured and fuel spilled onto the highway. All of the southbound lanes were closed for hours, though the highway has now re-opened.

No one was reported injured.
