Two charged after New Bedford drug bust
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. —
A man and a woman are accused of running a drug delivery service out of their Roosevelt Street home in New Bedford.
Patrick Parent, 30, and Ashley Rezendes, 27, face several drug charges including drug trafficking and possession.
After obtaining a search warrant, police found 83 grams of heroin, 162 Oxycodone tablets, 516 methadone tablets, four vials of steroids and more than $4,000 in cash inside their home.
Police said the drugs have an estimated street value of about $20,000.
