Rhode Island State Police and members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force have arrested a Warwick man on a charge of possessing child pornography.
Soulesene Vongkaysone, 37, of Aborn Street was arrested Wednesday morning.
Warwick police received a complaint from a social worker that had contact with Vongkaysone, who then forwarded the matter to the state police.
Authorities found images of child pornography on a laptop belonging to Vongkaysone.
He is expected to be arraigned Wednesday at Third Division District Court in Warwick.
If convicted, he'll face a fine of up to $5,000, up to five years in prison, or both.
