Whaling ship returns to New Bedford

Billed as the 'last American whaleship,' the Charles W. Morgan will be making a stop in New Bedford this weekend.

The ship is stopping at ports throughout New England, celebrating America's maritime heritage and ocean conservation.

The stop in New Bedford represents a trip home. The Morgan was build at the Hillman Brothers Shipyard in 1841.{} She's undergone millions of dollasr in renovations over the last five years and will be open for the public to board and explore from June 28-July 6.{}
