A 20-year-old Norton woman is accused of drunken driving in a crash in Attleboro.
Police said Allison Giuva texted a friend shortly before the crash early Saturday morning, admitting she was drunk.
"She was on the wrong side of the road, so I flashed her my high beams trying to like signal her so she would notice she was on the wrong side of the road. She didn't even notice. She didn't pay attention. She just kept coming," said Brittany Shea, whose car was struck.
Shea's car was damaged in the crash. Shea and a passenger, Alex Jones, had broken bones in their arms from the air bags deploying.
"She tried starting her car to drive away, but her car wouldn't start. So she got out of the car and started rubbing my shoulder saying, 'Oh my god. I hope you guys are OK. I didn't even see you there,'" Jones said of the suspect.
Giuva made an initial court appearance Monday.
