Brownie Pie


1 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter, melted

2 large eggs

3/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup baking cocoa

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chopped Walnuts

Whipped cream, optional

Strawberries, optional


In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter. Add eggs and milk and vanilla; mix well. Add flour, cocoa and salt. Stir in nuts.

Pour into a greased 9-in. pie pan or ovenproof skillet. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until almost set. Serve with whipped cream and strawberries if desired. Yield: 6 servings.
