Rhode Island health officials have agreed to reinstate a pharmacist whose license was suspended after officials say two children mistakenly received morphine.
The Department of Health announced Monday that Leo Blais, a former state Senator, had agreed to complete continuing education courses. His license will be on probation for two years during which he will not be allowed to serve as a pharmacy's pharmacist in charge.
Blais had been on suspension for the past year.
A message left for Blais was not immediately returned Monday.
