Lawmakers to discuss 38 Studios loan
Today Rhode Island lawmakers will discuss the pros and cons of defaulting on a $75 million loan guarantee to Curt Schilling's defunct video game company 38 Studios.
The discussion will be in the House Finance Committee on Thursday. .
The Economic Development Corporation loaned the money to 38 Studios before the company folded.
The EDC has taken Schilling to court, claiming he didn't disclose all his financial information before he asked for the loan.
The meeting at the State House is open to the public.
