More complaints against closed Foxboro consignment store Chic 2 Chic
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WJAR) —
More complaints are being filed against a Foxborough consignment store that suddenly shut down in July.
According to a spokesperson for the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, 53 people have filed complaints against Chic 2 Chic.
Complainants claim the consignment store either owes them money or needs to return their merchandise that’s currently locked inside the store.
The Attorney General’s Office is working to get in touch with the owner of Chic 2 Chic in hopes of mediating issues with complainants.
The owner of Chic 2 Chic has not responded to NBC 10’s request for comment.
The Better Business Bureau has also received similar complaints following the consignment store’s closure on July 26.
