Woonsocket's Emily Luther faced her biggest test yet on Tuesday night's episode of "The Voice" on NBC, as she and the remaining singers on Adam Levine's team performed in the Playoff Round.

Luther, who sang The Cure's "Lovesong," did not make the cut.

In a tweet, Luther thanked her fans.

"Very rarely am I speechless, but all I can get out is THANK YOU. Life doesn’t even seem real right now! I am so BLESSED! Buckle up, kids!" she said.

In the Playoff Round, the field of 24 artists is cut in half.

Each artist performs a song they feel proves why they deserve to be in the Top 12. Coaches save the three singers on their teams they believe will be the strongest competitors in the live shows, which begin next week.

"Working with Adam is truly incredible. I think for most people, when they think of working with a celebrity, you never really know what you're going to get. He's been encouraging. He's been very adamant about me being true to myself," Luther previously said.

"The Voice" airs at 8 p.m. Mondays and Tuesday on NBC 10.
